The time has come for the hive to grow. The old Queen laid several eggs which have been dutifully fed Royal Jelly by the workers. These special larvae will grow into Virgin Queens, each ready for conquest and thirsting for the deaths of their rivals when they hatch.
Most of the original colony swarmed and left with the old Queen. Only two of the Virgin Queens remain to inherit the hive and the remaining bees.
Now the Red Queen battles the Yellow Queen for mastery, each supported by their teams of loyal workers. Only one will survive: the loser will either die or flee to establish her own hive elsewhere.
In order to succeed, each side must use the lessons of the flowers that the bees rely on for pollen and life. Each flower reveals a different path that a warrior may fly to either attack or defend.
Survival depends on having only one queen at a time. When more than one Virgin Queen survives to hatch, conflict is inevitable. In Beehive, this conflict is transformed into a strategy game allowing players to outwit and outmaneuver their opponent and restore order to the hive.
